The American branch of the royal family has finally showcased themselves in the U.K. for the first time in a couple of years. Fans also saw how Lilibet, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle’s daughter, appeared in photographs and on social media.
Lilibet, Royal Daughter, Appears On The Internet

The Internet has finally seen Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s second child. While she and Archie haven’t been seen on the Platinum Jubilee weekend with their parents, there are photos from the girl’s first birthday celebration. Named after Queen Elizabeth’s childhood nickname, little Lilibet was photographed by the ex-royal couple’s close friend. Beautiful pictures of the private party first appeared on the social media page of the photographer, Misan Harriman, his Twitter page in particular. They were taken at Frogmore Cottage after the Platinum Jubilee weekend. There are not one but two pictures featuring the little princess – one shows Markle holding the child. Lili is sitting on the grass in the other one, with her beautiful little face fully visible in the photo. Previously, she was only seen once, with her profile appearing in a Christmas card last year.
The Sun reported that the party was very cozy and homey. The celebration looked more like a picnic, with different snacks on display, and royal cousins visiting as guests. The parents said they were “incredibly touched” by fans leaving birthday wishes on social media. It wasn’t the first time Harriman took pictures for the family, though. In the past, he gave Price Harry and Markle a photoshoot when they announced their pregnancy in February 2021. The shots went along with Princess Beatrice’s engagement photos to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in September 2019.
Thankful For The Wishes

Of course, Harriman is a very famous friend of the couple. He was the first Black man to make a British Vogue cover. In 2019, he told Vanity Fair more about his experience of giving the two lovebirds their photoshoot – fans were curious to know more about the Prince and Markle’s engagement. “You can’t be nervous when the subjects are so comfortable,” he said. “I call my lens the truth seeker, and that is exactly what was captured, two people who have found their safe harbor in each other.” During the picnic party, guests also had an incredible cake. Their wedding baker Claire Ptak created the dessert, per the Sussex’s spokesperson. Family members were “amazed to learn that people around the world made donations,” which ended up garnering over $100 thousand to the World Central Kitchen (WCK) in Lilibeth’s honor.
Prince and Markle “extended their gratitude to all who have shown support for the organization, which is especially near to their hearts,” the spokesperson explained. During their trip to the United Kingdom, the couple watched Trooping the Colour and attended the morning Service of Thanksgiving. Sadly, they didn’t go to any other public events of the Platinum Jubilee. It was the first trip for the little daughter, and the first time the royal family met her in person. Harry said that he is still not living in England, but he cares for the Queen when possible.
“You know, home — home for me, now, is you know, for the time being, is in the States,” he said.
