Actress Joan Van Ark graced the silver screen as Ewing Valene for many years on the hit daytime soap Knots Landing and its primetime counterpart, Dallas. However, these days, Ark barely looks recognizable due to her cosmetic surgery.
However, Ark has no problem with the surgery she’s had. Speaking to Oprah’s network, OWN, for its show Where Are They Know, Ark said of plastic surgery, “It’s the norm. It’s the norm now, the whole nine yards. It’s expected in a way. I mean, we are going to live longer…people want to be vital all the time. Part of that is looking younger.”
